ABOUT
About Solway Development:
Solway Development, LLC is a renewable energy development company on a mission to empower communities and organizations through clean energy. Founded in 2023 (with roots in industry experience dating back much further), Solway combines deep expertise in solar and battery storage with a unique focus: helping nonprofits and landowners create new revenue from unused land. Our approach delivers win-win solutions – land hosts gain financial stability, while the electric grid gains much-needed storage capacity for renewable power.
Our Mission & Vision:
Mission
Our mission is simple: Transform unused land into sustainable income and resilience. By 2028, Solway aims to develop over 1 gigawatt of battery storage projects across the U.S., strengthening the electric grid and providing long-term funding streams to our partner landowners. We are committed to doing this in a way that prioritizes safety, community engagement, and environmental stewardship every step of the way.
